The Misawan is a quarterly publication documenting the activities of U.S. Navy Command N.I.O.C. Misawa, in Japan. Revived after a period of several years out of print, this edition reimagined the design to incorporate Morse Code as a prime element—an indexical reference to the command’s intelligence-focused mission. It was produced as a 40 page booklet, structured over a over a six-column grid.
